We are building technology-led workflows to improve lead qualification, customer engagement, and loan conversion journeys.Role OverviewWe are looking for an AI Voice Agent Engineer / Conversational AI Developer who can build an AI calling agent from scratch for both inbound and outbound leads.This role requires someone who can combine AI, voice workflows, automation, telephony, CRM integrations, and conversation design to create a reliable calling system that can speak with leads, qualify them, capture responses, route them correctly, and continuously improve performance.The ideal candidate should be able to take ownership from strategy to execution — from designing the call logic and agent prompts to integrating APIs, deploying the system, and optimizing it based on real call outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and deploy an AI-powered voice calling agent for inbound and outbound lead interactionsDesign end-to-end conversation journeys for different loan products such as home loans, LAP, business loans, school financing, and builder-related queriesCreate call flows for:lead qualificationcustomer profilingdocument readiness checksfollow-up remindersappointment booking / RM assignmentmissed call / callback handlingDevelop the logic for multilingual customer conversations, especially across Indian borrowersIntegrate the AI agent with telephony systems, CRM, lead management tools, and internal workflowsBuild prompt architecture, intent mapping, fallback responses, escalation flows, and human handover logicEnsure the agent captures and structures customer responses accuratelySet up dashboards, transcripts, disposition tagging, and performance analyticsImprove the agent continuously based on call recordings, drop-offs, qualification quality, and conversion dataWork closely with business, sales, ops, and tech teams to align the AI agent with real customer journeysEnsure data privacy, compliance, and appropriate safeguards in customer interactionsWhat the Person Will BuildInbound AI qualification calls for fresh leadsOutbound AI follow-up calls for warm and cold leadsAI-based lead screening before RM allocationBasic multilingual voice interactionsCall summaries and disposition reportsEscalation to human teams where requiredIntegrations with OneNDF’s internal systems and workflowsRequired SkillsStrong experience in building AI agents, voice bots, or conversational automation systemsHands-on experience with speech-to-text, text-to-speech, LLM workflows, and voice orchestrationExperience working with APIs, webhook-based workflows, CRM integrations, and telephony platformsGood understanding of prompt engineering, conversational design, fallback logic, and structured response captureExperience in backend development and automation workflowsAbility to deploy, test, troubleshoot, and optimize production-grade systemsStrong problem-solving ability with an ownership mindsetComfort working in a fast-moving startup / fintech environmentPreferred BackgroundPrior experience in fintech, banking, lending, insurance, or lead qualification workflowsExperience building AI agents for sales calls, support calls, lead conversion, or collectionsFamiliarity with Indian customer conversations, multilingual flows, and telecalling processesUnderstanding of customer qualification logic for financial productsExperience with dashboards, call analytics, and agent performance improvementKey Outcomes / Success MetricsAI agent launched and handling live inbound and outbound callsImproved lead qualification speedBetter lead-to-RM handover qualityReduced manual calling load for the ops / telecalling teamHigher contactability and follow-up efficiencyAccurate call summaries, tagging, and workflow routingBetter conversion support through faster response timeWho This Role Is Ideal ForThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys building practical AI systems that solve real business problems.
