Job DescriptionPosition: Manager -New Product Development Business: Gresbond-Tile AdhesiveLocation: Head Office Reporting To: Head – GresbondRole ObjectiveTo lead end-to-end New Product Development for Tile Adhesives, from concept and formulation to plant trials, commercialization, and market launch.Key Responsibilities1. Product Strategy & InnovationIdentify market gaps and emerging trends within tile adhesive.Develop new product concepts aligned with market demand.Drive formulation innovation in coordination with R&D and technical teams.Benchmark products against competitors for product range gaps, and improvement 2. Formulation Development & TrialsLead lab-scale formulation development and performance validation in coordination with R&D.Conduct product testing and support production quantities in lines with market demand.Ensure compliance with IS standards and quality benchmarks.3. Commercialization & Launch ReadinessCollaborate with Sales & Marketing for product positioning and launch strategy.Ensure SKU creation, packaging development, and labelling compliance.Monitor post-launch performance and customer feedback for improvement.4. Product Lifecycle & Business EnablementDevelop and manage product roadmap aligned with long-term business growth objectives.Drive BOM finalization, cost modelling, and value engineering to enhance margin delivery.Lead cross-functional coordination across R&D, supply chain, procurement, and branding teams.Support GTM execution through structured sales enablement, product manuals and training initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceAny Engineering Graduate (Preferably chemical engineering8+ years of experience in tile adhesives, cement-based products, or construction chemicals (of which a major tenure must be in New Product Development)Strong formulation and plant-scale-up experienceKnowledge of IS standards and quality testing protocols
