Data Scientist - Contract

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building data-driven solutions and a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, build predictive models, and translate complex data insights into actionable business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:•Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems•Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and data preprocessing on structured and unstructured datasets•Write clean, modular, and scalable code using Object-Oriented Programming principles•Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define data requirements and success metrics•Build and maintain data pipelines and model workflows•Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency•Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner•Document models, code, and processes for knowledge sharing and reproducibilityMandatory Skills & Qualifications•3+ years of professional experience in Data Science or related roles•Strong experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using Python / Java / C++ (Python preferred)•Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis•Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)•Experience with SQL and working with large datasets•Understanding of software engineering best practices, version control (Git), and code reviewsGood to Have•Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)•Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)•Experience deploying models using APIs or MLOps tools•Knowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)•Experience in agile or fast-paced environmentsEducation•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
