It is dedicated to making learning, gamified, trackable, accessible  and intuitive. It facilitates the communication of students’ learning metrics across all stakeholders - students, parents, teachers and the school administration. It computerises and gamifies the homework process with the help of in-app quizzes, freeing up teacher and student capacity and time to focus on other aspects of learning and development.Job description GyanBuddy is looking for a founding CTO to further the technical development of the app and the platform. At present, the app has been built by external developers but we are looking to move it in-house to manage the day to day running and to further develop the product. The team would also work on bug fixes, and enhancements so that we can maximise learning and usability. The CTO will also be responsible for driving the vision of the company alongside the Founders.Qualification and SkillsMinimum Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant, directly related discipline from a reputable university is required. Skills in AI engineering, Structural engineer, Data manipulation, Animations and gamification, Knowledge map, Flutter, React Native, Django, FlaskReact, React Native, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Firebase, Cloud Storage (GCP/AWS). AI, Dev, system architecture, large data systems.Excellent communication skills in written and spoken EnglishStrong problem solving skills with a high degree of ownership Professional Experience A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in full-stack and back-end engineering is essential. Experience working in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or adjacent fields is essential Previous experience working in a fast-paced organisation or a start-up environment is desirable. Experience working with students or in education is desirable.Previous leadership experience is desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and build the in-house technical team to drive the vision of the company. Design and enhance the platform on the Web, Android and iOSLead the end to end development of the app using React.js, React Native, Node.js/Express, MongoDB, Firebase, and Google Cloud.Create and build the app’s system architecture, database structure, user flows, scalability plan, and DevOps pipelines.Load testing Cost optimisation Ensure platform security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.Experience in AI integration, and Prompt engineering. Professional Experience We are looking for a Founding CTO who will lead and further develop the app. Hybrid with 3 days a week in office.Integrate Various AI models into the workflow.CompensationEquity
