Cyber Security Analyst

The role involves working closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to monitor security posture, respond to incidents, and implement best practices that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and learner data.Key Responsibilities• Monitor systems, networks, and applications for security threats and suspicious activity• Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security audits• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures• Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines• Manage access control, identity management, and security configurations• Investigate security breaches and perform root cause analysis• Maintain incident response and disaster recovery security plans• Create security reports and documentation for internal stakeholders• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and industry trendsWhat We Are Looking For• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• Strong understanding of network security, system security, and application security• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response• Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanning, and security testing tools• Knowledge of cloud security concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure)• Understanding of identity and access management (IAM)• Awareness of compliance frameworks and data protection standards• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills• Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment• Interest in education, training, or mentorship-driven platformsWhat We Offer• Fully remote role across India• Opportunity to work with a global EdTech platform serving learners worldwide• Be part of MetBrains’ expansion and growth in India• Competitive compensation aligned with experience• Meaningful work ensuring secure and trusted learning environments• Supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work culture✨ Join MetBrains and help secure the future of global learning through robust cybersecurity practices.
