This role involves setting the technical direction, ensuring scalability and security, and driving innovation in API development for payment processing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Architecture & Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of payment gateway APIs built with Java and Spring Boot.Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in architecture, coding standards, and security.Project Coordination: Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle principles and agile methodologies throughout the project.Required Qualifications7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, primarily with Java and Spring Boot.Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership or managerial capacity.Proven ability to design and deliver secure, scalable APIs.Strong understanding of agile development processes and SDLC.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Preferred QualificationsBackground in payment systems or financial technology.Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).Language RequirementAdvanced proficiency in English for technical discussions and documentation.
