Data Scientist

Job Summary:Client is looking for Data Scientist, and this is remote position from India.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and translate them into actionable data science projects.Perform data exploration, cleaning, feature engineering, and model selection for optimal performance, leveraging the capabilities of Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing.Support production deployed ML models and AI applicationsTranslate natural language queries into SQL statements for data retrieval.Extract and categorize entities from text data.Continuously monitor, evaluate, and tune model performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on models for optimal results.Document work effectively, including model development process, technical decisions, and results.Strictly adhere to Catalent’s Responsible AI Framework and practicesStay up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning, generative AI, and related technologies.Experience:Tech Stack: Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Machine Learning Studio5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PySpark, Pandas, LangChain, Llama-Index, OpenAI, MLflow , Azure sdk, etc.).Experience with building, deploying, and monitoring production-ready ML models.Familiarity with CI/CD best practices for machine learning workflows.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
