With full-stack in-house development across navigation, controls, perception, and mission autonomy, TelebortiX is among the few companies globally capable of delivering scalable, long-endurance UAV platforms.We are backed by top-tier defense collaborators and innovation programs, and are rapidly scaling our engineering and flight operations teams.We are looking for a technical leader who not only possessesdeep domain masterybut also excels atsystem architectureand driving products from concept through to certified deployment.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilledSenior Software Engineerto join our Robotics team and drive the development of our next-generation perception systems.This role is crucial for enabling our autonomous platforms to understand and interact with the physical world accurately.The ideal candidate has a deep, practical understanding of modern perception algorithms and the ability to translate those insights intoproduct-level, high-performance code. You will be working on core components that blend algorithmic sophistication with real-time performance and robustness.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implementhighly efficient and robust perception algorithms for our robotic platforms, focusing on real-time performance and accuracy. Develop, optimize, and maintain core components forVisual Inertial Odometry (VIO)andSimultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM). Implement and refine modules forObject Detection and Trackingin complex, dynamic environments. Contribute to the development ofBehavior Predictionmodels for agents in the robot's operating space. Writeclean, production-ready codein C++ and Python, ensuring high quality, test coverage, and maintainability. Optimize perception pipelines for high throughput usingGPU architectures (CUDA)and other hardware acceleration techniques. Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and research scientists to integrate perception solutions into the full system stack. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and the deployment of features to production.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:Minimum of aB.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineeringor a related technical field. A Master's degree (M.S.) is preferred. Experience: 4+ yearsof professional experience in Robotics or Computer Vision for candidates with a B.Tech/B.E. 2+ yearsof professional experience for candidates with an M.S. Deep Domain Expertise:Strong theoretical and practical background in a combination of the following: Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) and SLAM, 3D Perception, PCL, and Point Cloud Processing, Object Detection, Tracking, and Segmentation (e.g., using Deep Learning frameworks) , Behavior Prediction and motion planning integration. Programming Proficiency:Expert-level proficiency inC++andPython. Performance Optimization:Proven experience withCUDA, OpenCL, or similar GPU programming paradigmsfor accelerating computational tasks. Software Development:Experience with version control systems (Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows, and professional software development practices.Key Tools & LibrariesRobotics Frameworks:Significant experience withROS/ROS 2(preferred). Computer Vision Libraries:Expert knowledge ofOpenCV. Deep Learning Frameworks:Experience with frameworks likePyTorch or TensorFlow. Optimization/Linear Algebra:Familiarity with optimization libraries likeCeres Solverorg2o.Desired (Bonus) QualificationsExperience deploying perception models to embedded systems or edge devices. Familiarity with various sensor modalities (e.g., LiDAR, Radar, Stereo Cameras, IMUs). Prior experience working on safety-critical systems or high-reliability applications.
