AWS L3 Cloud Engineer

Location: Delhi Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: L3 (Senior-Level Engineer) Department: Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Reports To: Cloud Infrastructure Manager or ( Team Lead) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS L3 Engineer to join our cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our applications and services. The L3 Engineer will also be the escalation point for complex issues and drive automation, monitoring, and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities: ·      Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using best practices. ·      Provide L3-level support for AWS environments including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, No SQL Database), IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda , and more. ·      Manage and optimize Amazon RDS instances, backup policies, multi-AZ deployments, read replicas, performance tuning, and failover testing. ·      Lead or support migration of workloads from on-premises environments to AWS using AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service (MGN), DMS, or Snowball. ·      Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK. ·      Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc. ·      Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, GuardDuty, Inspector, and AWS Security Hub. ·      Work closely with cloud teams to ensure compliance and enforce cloud security standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks). ·      Troubleshoot and resolve critical infrastructure and application issues as an escalation point. ·      Participate in the design of disaster recovery (DR), high availability (HA), and backup solutions for both compute and database services. ·      Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices and continuous delivery pipelines. ·      Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing AWS infrastructure at scale. Strong expertise in networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, security groups, route tables, VPNs). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Deep knowledge of IAM, roles, policies, and AWS security best practices. Strong hands-on experience with Amazon RDS and AWS migration tools. Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional are highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications: ·      Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments. ·      Experience with Migration Database and Application (On-premises to AWS Infa) ·      Familiarity with Linux system administration (Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, RHEL). ·      Understanding compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, etc.). ·      Knowledge of cost optimization and AWS billing/usage analysis.
