In this role, you’ll help design and implement robust testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our mission-critical applications. You’ll work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to define testing strategies, build automation pipelines, and uphold best practices in quality assurance. If you’re passionate about test automation, love breaking things (to make them better), and want to contribute to tech that impacts millions—this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites Write and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for frontend, backend, and API layers Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and verify fixes Develop tools and utilities to improve the testing process Promote test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and shift-left testing practices Ensure proper documentation of test plans, cases, and automation scriptsQualifications 3+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate Familiarity with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) is a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Jarvis Build quality systems for technology that drives political and social transformation Contribute to scalable, reliable products used in real-world governance and public engagement Take ownership of automation and quality initiatives across diverse tech stacks Thrive in a quality-first, collaborative, and purpose-driven culture Work in an office-first setup that enables innovation, teamwork, and continuous learningHow to Apply Apply here on LinkedIn or send your resume and portfolio/github to: Subject:Application – SDET – II
