Job DescriptionImmigration and International Operations ExpertLocation: Noida, India (On-site)Experience: 5 – 8 Years (Must have hands-on US Immigration experience)Reports To: Head HRShift Timings: US shift (IST 7.30 PM onwards)Job SummaryOur client, A leading global IT services and digital transformation company, is looking for a subject matter expert to own and manage our Immigration, Visa, and International operations. You will be expected to take accountability for the following: Key ResponsibilitiesH1B & US Visa Operations (Core Mandate)Manage the complete lifecycle of H1B visas, including:Cap-subject (Lottery)Cap-exempt petitionsH1B Transfers (Change of Employer)Extensions and AmendmentsCoordinate documentation collection and validation (education evaluations, experience letters, resumes, client letters) to meet USCIS Specialty Occupation requirements.Initiate, track, and maintain Labor Condition Applications (LCA) and ensure accurate Public Access File (PAF)compliance.Serve as the primary liaison with US immigration attorneys, reviewing immigration forms (I-129, G-28, supporting exhibits) for accuracy before submission.Manage RFE (Request for Evidence) cases by coordinating with consultants, managers, and clients to gather technical documents, SOWs, and support letters.Handle visa stamping coordination, travel risk advisory, and dependent visa processes (H4, H4 EAD).Immigration Compliance & TrackingMaintain a centralized immigration tracker covering:H1B, L1, OPT/CPT, H4 EAD validityPassport expiry datesProactively initiate renewals at least 6 months in advance to avoid business disruption.Support I-9 compliance and re-verification activities in coordination with US HR.Ensure complete digital records of petitions, receipts (I-797), approvals, and approvals for audit readiness.Immigration Compliance & TrackingSupport US employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and compliance documentation.Coordinate US-specific HR operational tasks related to:Consultant deploymentClient engagementsOnsite transitionsAct as a point of contact for US consultants on HR and immigration-related queries.Assist with short-term travel (B1/B2) coordination, including documentation and advisory support.JobDiva and System Management Maintain and update consultant records in JobDiva, ensuring:Accurate visa statusAssignment detailsCompliance documentationGenerate reports and support US operations with data accuracy and visibility.Must-Have Qualifications:Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any stream.Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in US Immigration within an IT Staffing or IT Services environment.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of US Immigration terminologies (e.g., Prevailing Wage, Cap-Gap, 60-day Grace Period, A-Number, I-94, JobDiva or similar applications).Communication: Excellent written and spoken English is non-negotiable.Personality Traits:High Attention to Detail: A single wrong digit on a form can cause a rejection. You must have a /"zero-error/" mindset.Confidentiality: Maturity to handle sensitive personal data and salary information.Assertiveness: Ability to follow up with attorneys and internal stakeholders to meet strict USCIS deadlines.Note: The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description may not be fully exhaustive.
