Principal Engineer (Azure Stack HCI /Azure Local)

Required Skills & ExperienceAzure Local / Azure Stack HCI ExpertiseProven hands-on experience with Azure Stack HCI deployments, SDN configurations, S2D, and cluster operations.Strong knowledge of Azure Arc onboarding and administration.Familiarity with Azure Local hardware SKUs, scaling considerations, and lifecycle management using Windows Admin Center.Experience managing VMware technologies: ESXi, vCenter, vSAN.Knowledge of NSX-T/NSX-V, routing components, micro-segmentation, and distributed firewall rules.Understanding of migration patterns between VMware, Azure Local, and Azure Cloud.VMware & NSXManage and support VMware environments including vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VM provisioning.Operate NSX-V/NSX-T for micro-segmentation, overlay networks, and distributed firewall configurations.Contribute to migration planning of compute, network, and storage workloads between VMware and Azure Local platforms.Operating Systems & Platform SkillsExpertise with Windows Server roles such as AD, DNS, DHCP, and Failover Clustering.Basic Linux administration for hybrid/VMware environments.Knowledge of patching frameworks, OS security baselines, and hardening practices.
