Head Renewable Energy

A client of TRANSEARCH, a global non-profit environmental advocacy organization working in the areas of climate and energy, is seeking a Head – Renewable Energy (Associate Director level) to lead and manage the growing renewable energy program in India. This senior leadership role will work closely with the organization’s leadership team and cross-functional groups to advance renewable energy initiatives and policy impact.The role will oversee the day-to-day operations of a dedicated Renewable Energy team, leading project development, implementation, and optimization across multiple workstreams. The Associate Director will mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. The position requires strong engagement with national, state, and local government stakeholders, as well as close collaboration with international partners. It calls for strategic thinking, the ability to navigate complex policy and implementation challenges, and a strong commitment to advancing clean energy solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in energy systems, renewable energy, energy policy, environmental studies, public policy, economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.Experience:15–18 years of relevant experience in energy, environment, or policy work in India, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership or people-management roles.Interested Candidates: Please send your latest curriculum vitae at associatedirectorre@
