Principal Engineer

Job Title / Position: Sr. Lead Engineer / Principal Engineer Department: Technical Service Centre : Laboratory Job Location : Phoenix Contact India Pvt. Ltd. A-58/2 (Unit-1), Okhla Industrial Area, Phase II, 110020 New DelhiOverview / Objectives: • Ensuring authenticated / reliable software testing and documentation using agile development method (SCRUM) • Test planning and scheduling for on time completion of allocated projects. • Independent Software testing according to test specifications Independent Firmware and Hardware testing of industrial communication interfaces such as IO-Link according to normative requirements. • Assistance to the development project teams. • Creation of test concepts, test methods and test reports. • Support in preventive and corrective maintenance. • Support in laboratory set- up and maintenance of laboratory Management System as per ISO 17025. • Maintaining and validating test equipment’s to ensure accurate and reliable test results. • Problem Solving: Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, investigating test failures and implementing corrective actions. • Maintaining inter and intra departmental effective communication. • Identification and maintenance of required competencies.Requirement Minimum Work Experience 10 Years of firmware testing experience Educational / Technical Qualification B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent.Professional Qualification: Certification as an ISTQB tester (preferred)Personal Competence • Results-oriented way of working. • Problem Solving • Effective communicator • Planning and organising • Creative thinkingSpecial Requirements • Good knowledge of programming (C#) • Experience and knowledge with Windows and Linux systems • Good English communication skill
