SGT Universityis in search of a seasoned professional to work as an Academic Counsellors for its campus near Delhi. The University (a Health science University), in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers courses in Health Sciences, such as Medicine, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, and also in Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts and Science. It nurtures more than five thousand students and is a hub of activities involving the nation’s who’s who. It is a part of a group that spans fields in education, hospitality, and employs over two thousand people. The campus offers excellent support facilities such as shopping, medical facilities, entertainment and transportation. The campus is located less than 5 km from the Delhi border of Daurala and offers convenient access to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.Qualification & Experience : Essential :1. Master’s degree holder having professional additional qualifications will be an added advantage .2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with fluency of the native/loca llanguag e3. Extensive knowledge about the university, its faculty, and its student populatio n4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detai l5. Excellent interpersonal skill s6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwar e7. Up to Two – Three years of related work experience in field of Multi- disciplinary Counselling will be preferred. Duties/Responsibilitie s:This role is responsible to attract students to the University by proper planning strategies, promoting the University Nationally and Internationally for student admission and facilitating smooth admission process for students and appropriately handling students & their parents querie s.Calling/Tele calling aspirants / parents for fixing up the counselling and meet with prospective students and answers questions about the university, areas of study, and opportunities for student s.Reviews prospective students’ applications and direct them to the appropriate sources for guidance on courses of study, financial aid, scholarships, or other informatio n.Provide detailed and accurate information regarding Admission documentation and other mandatory requirement s.To give tours of the University campus to prospective students for acquainting them with the existing infrastructu reTravel to high schools, technical schools, and community, participate in educational activities like Seminars, Events and other events for promotional purposes to promote the universit y.Responsibly handle all aspects of the admission process from filling application form to campus visit to final admissio n.Follow up with the potential candidate post their visit and ensure effective closur e.Stay updated with all changes in policies, procedures, requirements for admissio anize various outreach activities like Workshops, Expert talks, Health check-up camps e tcKey Performance Indicator for calling in peak season 100/150 calls per day.
