Role OverviewWe are looking for a Commercial Appliance Service Engineer – Installation, Maintenance & Inspection, India to support SolutionMall’s commercial appliance projects and after-sales service coordination in India.This is a flexible cooperation-based technical role suitable for professionals with hands-on experience in commercial appliance installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, commissioning, or field service support.The role focuses on supporting local installation, equipment inspection, maintenance coordination, fault checking, technical feedback, and service support for commercial appliance projects in India.This is not a household appliance repair role. It is a B2B technical service role focused on commercial-use, project-based, and long-term-use equipment for hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, laundromats, hospitals, commercial buildings, and facility projects.The ideal candidate should be able to support:Equipment installation supportOn-site inspectionRoutine maintenanceFault checking and troubleshootingCommissioning supportTechnical feedback collectionAfter-sales service coordinationProject implementation support3. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and Commissioning SupportSupport installation and commissioning of commercial appliance equipment in India, including:Commercial laundry equipmentCommercial refrigeration systemsCommercial kitchen equipmentCommercial dishwashersCommercial water heatersCommercial display cabinetsHVAC-related equipmentExhaust and ventilation systemsHotel, restaurant, supermarket, hospital, laundromat, and facility equipmentAssist with site readiness checks, installation condition confirmation, basic wiring or connection checks, equipment placement checks, and commissioning coordination.Help ensure equipment is installed according to project requirements, supplier guidance, safety requirements, and practical site conditions.Maintenance and InspectionSupport routine inspection and preventive maintenance for commercial appliance systems.Check equipment operation status, installation quality, connection conditions, abnormal noise, leakage, overheating, cooling performance, heating performance, drainage, ventilation, and safety-related conditions.Provide basic maintenance recommendations and help customers identify possible risks before they become serious failures.Support regular service visits where needed for hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, laundromats, hospitals, and commercial facility customers.Fault Checking and TroubleshootingAssist customers in identifying equipment faults, abnormal operation, or performance issues.Support troubleshooting for common issues related to:Power supplyWiring and connectionsRefrigeration performanceHeating performanceWater supply and drainageAirflow and ventilationControl panels and basic electrical componentsEquipment alarms and abnormal operationCollect photos, videos, fault descriptions, operating conditions, and site information to support remote technical diagnosis by SolutionMall or supplier teams.Technical Communication and FeedbackAct as a local technical contact for basic communication between customers, SolutionMall teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.Provide clear technical feedback on installation conditions, equipment status, site issues, service requirements, and customer concerns.Help SolutionMall understand local service conditions, common failure types, installation challenges, spare parts needs, and maintenance expectations in India.Project and After-Sales SupportSupport project implementation, after-sales service follow-up, and local technical coordination.Assist with product acceptance checks, delivery inspection, site handover support, and service documentation where needed.Support spare parts coordination, service visit planning, customer feedback collection, and follow-up on unresolved technical issues.4. QualificationsRequired2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Commercial appliance installationCommercial appliance maintenanceCommercial refrigeration serviceCommercial kitchen equipment serviceCommercial laundry equipment serviceDishwasher installation or maintenanceWater heater installation or maintenanceHVAC or ventilation system serviceFacility equipment maintenanceField service engineeringElectrical or mechanical maintenancePractical hands-on ability in equipment inspection, installation support, maintenance, fault checking, and troubleshooting.Basic understanding of electrical connections, mechanical structure, water supply and drainage, refrigeration, heating, or ventilation systems.Ability to communicate with customers, site teams, contractors, suppliers, and remote technical teams.Ability to provide clear photos, videos, written feedback, and service records.Working proficiency in English.PreferredExperience with commercial-use equipment rather than only household appliances.Experience serving hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, laundromats, hospitals, commercial buildings, or facility management customers.Experience with commercial refrigeration, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, dishwashers, water heaters, HVAC, or ventilation systems.Familiarity with installation safety, site inspection, preventive maintenance, and after-sales service workflows.Existing local service capability or customer access in India is a strong advantage.5.
