The candidate will also mentor junior infrastructure engineers and help establish professional operational standards.You will ensure that our internal systems are secure, resilient, well-documented, professionally operated and compliant, forming the backbone of our cybersecurity and product engineering teams.Candidates should demonstrate strong understanding of secure infrastructure design and operational security practices.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain virtualization infrastructureOperate internal technology platforms and servicesMaintain secure networking and remote access infrastructureImplement monitoring, alerting, and backup systemsImprove infrastructure documentation and operational processesLead and mentor junior IT / infrastructure engineersCompliance & GovernanceSupport and maintain organizational compliance requirements related to IT and cybersecurityEnsure infrastructure and systems align with defined security and compliance standardsAssist in audits by providing required technical evidence and documentationMaintain proper access controls, logging, and system configurations as per compliance needsContinuously improve infrastructure practices to align with evolving compliance requirementsRequired SkillsCandidates should have experience with:Linux system administrationvirtualization platforms (Proxmox / VMware / KVM)networking fundamentalsVPN technologiesinfrastructure monitoringbackup systemsinfrastructure documentationPreferred ExperienceExposure to any of the following is beneficial:developer platforms (GitLab Premium/Ultimate)identity and access management systemscontainerization technologiesinfrastructure automationstorage systemsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate:is hands-on with infrastructure technologies - proprietary as well as open sourcehas experience managing production environmentsvalues documentation and structured operationsis comfortable working in a fast-growing technical organizationExperience working with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, STQC, SOC2, etc.) is a plus.Important NoteThis role focuses on infrastructure engineering and platform operations, and is not a help desk or desktop support role
