Job Category: HVAC/ Low voltage Systems/ Engineering and Construction Compensation: Salary Commensurate with experience Location: New Delhi, Head OfficeJob DescriptionHowell is looking for a Mid-level, motivated, Pre-Sales-Oriented person with extensive experience in Product Handling, Pre-Sales, Training, System Commissioning, Site Handover, Fault finding, and Product Prescription handling in Audio-Video (AV) The role is responsible for product prescription and project commissioning across the Indian Territory. The person should be result-oriented, with a focus on product prescription, product management and handling the final handover of the system to the customer.The candidate from ELV industry is a must; the candidate should have proven experience in Audio-Video Products and related markets.Must have strong commercial and applicability knowledge of Audio-Video products and industry-leading brands.Reporting: to the Pre - Sales Head Key responsibilities :He must ensure that the client's requirements are met and product specifications are well placed. He is also responsible for the Audio-Video solutions.Responsibilities include:1. The Basis/key role of the Presales manager is to get associated with the Sales team to understand and design the Audio-Video solutions as per the customer/ tender requirements.2. Developing details of required Product feature specifications3. Competitive analysis, and competitive positioning of company products4. Prescriptions/ full supporting sales in pre-sales efforts5. Provides infrastructure presale support to internal/external team during bidding.6. Gather bid/user requirement from tender specification; evaluate and recommend new/upgrade of software and hardware to meet the project/tender requirement.7. Provides infrastructure architecture design through industrial best practices and standards.8. Provides infrastructure consultancy to internal/external team.9. Keeps abreast of technological advancement, emerging standards and new software or hardware solutions to continuously provide proven, innovative, cost-effective and quality solutions.10. Ability to apply experiences and knowledge to infrastructure solutions11. Must have good technical skills and know-how to assist in technical solution selling12. Ability to lead and conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and Demo activities to assist sales in closing deals. Desired profile of the candidate:EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : 1. Candidate should be: Graduate (BE/BTech/ in Electronics/ E & C/ Computers, BSC-IT/ BSC-Electronics)2. Should have excellent communication skills & should have a good command over English and Hindi3. Should have working experience of 8-10 years in Presales/ Product management in Audio-Video (AV) and relevant experience of at least 5 years in presales.4. Proven track record of Product management in Audio-Video (AV) solutions.5. Multi-Product handling capacity6. Should have thorough knowledge of the following makes: Crestron, Kramer, christie,Delta AMX, Extron, JBL/ Harman/ Crown, draper/ Da-lite , Bosch and other related AV devices.7. Should be Team Member & Team Builder8.
