Data Hygiene Specialist (Contractual)

We are in search of creative and self-driven candidate to help establish an efficient and standardizeddata cleaning and quality process.You’ll work with a custom-built software tool and help classify both merchant and product-level dataacross all industry verticals. You’ll have the unique opportunity to help with data classification work, butalso build a holistic data quality management system.Availability will be required in the evenings (IST) for meetings with our US based-team thus, the shifttimings would be hybrid; Additionally, asynchronous communication via Slack will be required for thisposition.Preferred Qualifications• 1+ years of data entry or data analysis experience• SQL skills and an understanding of the United States retail landscape are a plus• Proficient verbal and written communication skills• Working experience with business software tools (Google Sheets & Slides; Microsoft Excel &PowerPoint, etc.)• An entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and creative approach to your workWhat you’ll do:• Work efficiently on data classification assignments to categorize merchant and product data to thecorrect channel, brand, and category outputs• Learn how to use new features in the clean-up tool and incorporate them into your workflow• Conduct research on merchants, brands and categories to gain insight into classification accuracy• Document, refine, and share ideas on how to improve the data hygiene process• Meet or exceed deadlines set by Data Hygiene team• Collaborate with a variety of teams with strong attention to detail and ability to manage shiftingpriorities and assignments.
