Associate – Fractional GC Practice

At Bridge Counsels, we work with startups and MSMEs as their Fractional General Counsel—building legal, compliance, and governance systems that scale with the business.We are looking to onboard an Associate (2–3 years PQE) who wants to move beyond traditional legal roles and work at the intersection of corporate governance, AI governance, SaaS, data protection, intellectual property (IPR), and contract management.Role Overview• Corporate governance & structuring for startups and MSMEs• Contract management across lifecycle—drafting, reviewing, negotiating, monitoring• Commercial contracting (SaaS, vendor, customer, enterprise agreements)• Startup funding support (term sheets, SHA basics, investor documentation)• AI governance frameworks and responsible use of technology• Data protection & privacy frameworks (DPDP Act and global alignment)• IPR strategy & protection (ownership structuring, assignments, licensing)• Compliance architecture built into business processes• Supporting the Fractional GC model across multiple clientsQualifications• LL.B. from a recognized university• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India• Exposure to data protection, AI governance, or IP laws is a plusExperience (2–3 Years PQE)• Corporate & Commercial Advisory (company law, structuring, startup advisory)• Contract management & commercial contracting (SaaS, tech, vendor, enterprise agreements)• Startup funding exposure (term sheets, SHA basics)• Technology / SaaS ecosystem understanding• Data protection & privacy (DPDP Act, policies, compliance frameworks)• IPR advisory (ownership, assignments, licensing, brand protection)• Governance & compliance (internal policies, risk frameworks)Core Skillset• Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiation capability• Ability to manage end-to-end contract lifecycle• Commercial and business-oriented thinking• Systems and governance mindset• Comfort working with founders and leadership teams• High ownership and attention to detailPreferred / Good to Have• Exposure to AI governance / emerging tech regulations• Experience with startups, SaaS, or tech-led businesses• Familiarity with cross-border transactions• Prior in-house or founder-facing experienceWhy Bridge Counsels• Work on governance as infrastructure• Exposure to AI, SaaS, IP, and data-driven businesses• Direct interaction with founders, operators, and investors• Build expertise in the Fractional GC modelLocationDelhi Apply (Onsite)Please Share CVs at:  Referrals are welcome.
