This role requires a strong operator with the ability to manage teams, drive execution rigor, and proactively mitigate risks while ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Program & Delivery ManagementOwn end-to-end delivery of assigned programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and financial targets Drive execution discipline across planning, coordination, and delivery cycles Identify potential delivery risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies Ensure strict adherence to defined delivery frameworks, SOPs, and operating guidelines Team Leadership & Performance ManagementLead and manage Project Managers and program delivery teams Establish clear roles, expectations, and accountability frameworks Review project plans, trackers, and progress updates regularly Coach and mentor team members to strengthen execution capability and ownership Act as the first point of escalation for delivery and team-related concerns Governance, Reporting & Process ExcellenceDrive structured governance through regular operating cadence and review mechanisms Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of MIS, dashboards, and reporting Strengthen delivery hygiene across documentation, communication, and approvals Identify opportunities for process simplification and operational efficiency improvements Stakeholder & Client ManagementManage communication with internal and external stakeholders effectively Set clear expectations on scope, timelines, and interdependencies Escalate issues to the Delivery Head with clear context, impact assessment, and proposed solutions Ensure a seamless, professional, and high-quality delivery experience for clients and participants Escalation & Decision SupportIndependently resolve operational challenges wherever feasible Escalate only high-impact or strategic issues with well-structured recommendations Provide actionable insights and inputs to support leadership decision-making Success MetricsConsistent on-time, high-quality program delivery Reduction in escalations reaching the Delivery Head Improved team productivity, ownership, and execution capability High stakeholder and client satisfaction scores Strong compliance with delivery processes and reporting standards Experience & Capability Requirements10–14+ years of experience in program, project, or delivery management Demonstrated experience managing Project Managers or senior delivery teams Strong operational rigor with excellent planning and execution skills High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities Decision AuthorityApprove delivery plans, timelines, and execution strategies within defined frameworks Manage day-to-day delivery trade-offs and resource allocation decisions Proactively address performance gaps and execution risks Escalate to the Delivery Head only for strategic, financial, or high-risk matters Key skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred Formal training or certification in project/program management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is an advantage Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Strong proficiency in program management tools, reporting frameworks, and data-driven decision-making Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, including managing mid-level managers High degree of ownership, problem-solving capability, and operational judgment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Experience in education, edtech, or professional learning environments will be an added advantageEmeritus provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
