Job Description:

The Lead HR is a hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day HR lifecycle and ensuring operational excellence. Reporting to the CEO/MD, this individual will drive recruitment, manage employee relations, and ensure 100% statutory compliance while maintaining a positive workplace culture.Location: Head Office, Mumbai (In-office)Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon–Sat)Core Mandate: Execution, Process Compliance, and Employee Engagement.Key Performance Areas1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Priority 1)Execution: Manage the full recruitment funnel from JD creation to offer negotiation.Sourcing: Utilize portals like LinkedIn, recruitment consultants, and referrals to close positions within a 30- 45 days TAT.Integration: Conduct inductions and devise programs to reduce early attrition.2. Performance & Data ManagementKRA Tracking: Ensure all employees have signed-off KRAs and coordinate the mid-year and annual review cycles.HRIS Custodian: Maintain real-time accuracy of employee records, leave, and attendance data.Reporting: Prepare monthly HR dashboards (Attrition, Headcount, Hiring Cost) for management review.3. Employee Relations & EngagementPoint of Contact: Act as the first touchpoint for employee grievances and conflict resolution.Vibe & Culture: Organize monthly engagement activities and recognition programsExit Management: Conduct exit interviews to identify /"push factors/" and manage the full & final (F&F) settlement process.4. Payroll Support & Statutory CompliancePayroll Inputs: Coordinate with Finance to provide accurate data for monthly salary processing (LOP, incentives, bonuses).Local Compliance: Ensure the office adheres to the Maharashtra Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax norms which includes POSH normsAudit Readiness: Maintain physical and digital files for all statutory inspections and internal audits.  Candidate ProfileQualificationsBachelor’s degree. A specialization in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Experience6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial exposure in leading the HR function independently for a mid-size organizationProven experience in handling end-to-end HR across strategy, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations.Prior experience in building or scaling HR systems, policies, and teams will be highly preferred.Key Skills and CompetenciesStrong business acumen and strategic thinkingDeep understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance requirementsStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilityGood communication, interpersonal, and influencing skillsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilityHigh degree of maturity, integrity, discretion, and ownership
