Job Title: Senior Executive- Fire Marshal Location: DelhiReports to: HOD - Engineering JOB DescriptionFire Marshal ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by developing, implementing, and enforcing fire safety protocols and emergency procedures. This role involves conducting inspections, training staff, coordinating with local fire authorities, and maintaining compliance with fire safety regulations. Key Responsibilities 1) Fire Safety Management • Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national fire safety regulations and codes. 2. Inspections & Audits • Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, emergency exits, and signage. • Coordinate with authorities during inspections and audits.2) Emergency Preparedness & Response • Lead fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures for staff and guests. • Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency response during fire incidents. • Coordinate with local fire departments and emergency services as needed. 3) Training & Awareness • Train staff on fire safety, evacuation procedures, and the use of firefighting equipment. • Conduct awareness programs and workshops for guests and staff.4) Documentation & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of inspections, drills, incidents, and training sessions. • Prepare reports for management on fire safety status, risks, and corrective actions. Qualifications 1) Diploma or degree in Fire Safety, Safety Management. 2) Professional certification in fire safety (e.g., Fire Marshal Certification, NFPA certification) preferred. 3) Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire safety management, preferably in hotels, resorts, or large commercial buildings. Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and best practices. • Excellent leadership and organizational skills. • Effective at conducting training sessions and workshops. • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and hazards. • Calm and decisive in emergency situations.
