The product analyzes large volumes of sport betting odds using data and AI to identify thebest betting picks , which are presented to users in a simple, clear, and actionable way. We are looking for aLead Data / AI profileto design, build, and own the analytical engine at the core of the product.The Role AsLead Data / AI , you will be responsible for turning raw betting odds into high-quality daily picks used by real users. You will play acentral and strategic role , working closely with the tech and business teams to shape the product from day one.To be more specific your core responsibilities will include: Analyze sport betting odds across main and secondary markets. Detect value, anomalies, and mispriced markets using data and statistical logic Design and maintain a scoring system to rank and select the best daily picks Build logic for smart accumulators / parlays (2–3 selections max) Work closely with the Lead Engineer to integrate models into the product Continuously improve pick quality based on performance and feedback: 1) Translate complex analysis into simple, user-friendly explanations 2) Help define what is shown to users — and what is intentionally hiddenThe Ideal Profile What we’re looking for: Strong understanding ofsports betting odds Solid background in dataanalysis, statistics, and probability Hands-on experience withPythonand data analysis tools Comfortable working withrules + lightweight ML models Strong football knowledge Product mindset: clarity and usefulness over complexity Relevant backgrounds: Data Scientist (product-oriented) Betting / odds analyst Quant / trading profile Senior data profile with a strong interest in sportsNext steps in the process ✅ 1st Interview with your future manager to make sure you meet the role’s requirements 2nd interview with HR to better understand who you are and make sure there is a cultural fit with MoveUp Media Last step: a proposition for us to start working together!
