Tractor Homologation Specialist (ARAI Experienced)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Tractor Homologation Specialist with proven experience in handling certification and compliance processes with the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in regulatory standards, homologation procedures, and technical documentation specific to tractors and agricultural machinery . Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end tractor homologation and certification processes in line with CMVR (Central Motor Vehicles Rules) and other statutory requirements. Liaise with ARAI officials and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth approvals and compliance. Prepare and submit technical documentation, drawings, and specifications required for homologation. Coordinate with design, R&D, and testing teams to ensure all products meet safety, emission, and performance standards . Conduct regulatory audits, inspections, and conformity of production (COP) activities. Stay updated with latest government regulations, emission norms (Bharat Stage / TREM standards), and BIS guidelines related to tractors. Troubleshoot and resolve technical or regulatory challenges during the homologation process. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (Master’s preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ARAI or similar automotive certification bodies. Proven track record of successfully completing tractor or agricultural equipment homologation . Strong knowledge of CMVR, AIS, BIS standards , and other regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills . Ability to interact confidently with government officials, test agencies, and internal stakeholders.
