Job TitleBusiness Development Manager / Sales Manager – Recruitment & StaffingJob SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to drive client acquisition for our recruitment and staffing business. The role focuses on identifying prospective clients, generating leads, conducting sales meetings, negotiating commercial terms, and onboarding clients by successfully signing Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), or staffing contracts.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B sales within recruitment, staffing, IT staffing, RPO, or HR services, with a proven track record of bringing new clients on board.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Client AcquisitionIdentify and acquire new clients for recruitment and staffing services.Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, networking, references, and market research.Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and capability discussions.Understand client hiring needs and propose suitable recruitment solutions.Sales & Contract ClosureDrive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements.Coordinate with legal/internal teams to finalize and sign MSA, NDA, SOW, and vendor agreements.Ensure successful onboarding of clients into the recruitment process.Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Client Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling services.Market IntelligenceMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.Provide feedback to recruitment delivery teams regarding market demand and client expectations.Internal CoordinationWork closely with recruiters and account managers to ensure timely delivery.Support recruitment teams with client requirements and priorities.Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and forecasting updates.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field.10+ years of experience in business development or sales within recruitment/staffing industry.Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle and staffing models.Experience in signing MSA/contracts with clients.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong network with HR, procurement, or business leaders is preferred.Ability to work independently and achieve revenue targets.Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, etc.Preferred ExperienceIT Staffing / Non-IT Staffing / Executive Search / RPO sales experience.Experience handling domestic or international clients.Existing client relationships and database will be an added advantage.
