Role Description:Subject Matter Expert (SME) – ELA, Math, or SciencePosition Overview The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide engaging, rigorous, and comprehensive educational content for Grades 3–12 aligned to U.S. curriculum standards. We are seeking experts in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, or Science to build subject-specific foundational knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The SME will ensure absolute accuracy and alignment within the provided instructional framework.Key Responsibilities:Subject Matter Expertise: Develop high-quality, curriculum-aligned content specific to your discipline:ELA: Focus on literary analysis, diverse genres, complex texts, and writing instruction.Science: Cover Life, Physical, and Earth/Space Sciences, emphasizing inquiry-based learning, NGSS alignment, hands-on learning, and scientific reasoning.Math: Build numeracy from elementary arithmetic through high school algebra and precalculus, utilizing visual models and real-world applications.Content Contribution: Provide robust content for the Learn-Think-Try framework and identify gaps in standards coverage. Generate state-test-style and open-ended assessment questions. Identify and recommend media needs, such as interactives, visuals, or manipulatives.Collaboration & AI Workflow: Collaborate closely with Instructional Designers to ensure lesson fidelity and revise content based on feedback. Utilize AI tools to support content drafting and ideation, strictly validating outputs for accuracy and standards alignment.Qualifications:Required: Bachelor’s degree in English, Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field. Proven experience teaching or developing U.S. curriculum materials for Grades 3–12. Strong pedagogical understanding and comfort using AI tools for content development.Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field and familiarity with digital learning environments or specific frameworks like NGSS and Common Core.Skills and Attributes:Excellent written communication, strong analytical reasoning, and extreme attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.Job Details:Position Type: Full-TimeLocation: Remote
