Procurement Executive - Solar EPC

Our focus is on helping businesses reduce energy costs while meeting their sustainability goals with ease.We are looking for a Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of solar components for our C&I projects. You will be responsible for tracking market prices, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely material delivery, managing inventory, and building strong supplier relationships to support our project execution team.This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with our project and finance teams.Key Responsibilities:Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for panels, inverters, mounting structures, BOS componentsConduct vendor KYC, performance reviews, and proactive audits for new empanelmentBuild backup vendor network to mitigate supply chain risksPrice Tracking & NegotiationTrack weekly/monthly price trends across modules, inverters, and key materialsMaintain multi-vendor price comparison sheetsMonitor market developments — ALMM updates, anti-dumping duties, import regulationsNegotiate pricing, credit terms, bulk discounts, and warranty agreementsProcurement Planning & ExecutionReview project BOQs and prepare material forecasts; flag long-lead items in advanceRelease POs, track order status, and ensure on-time delivery to sites/warehouseCoordinate last-mile logistics including transporters and site access for rooftop deliveriesResolve delivery delays, quality issues, and documentation problems promptlyInventory, Imports & Finance CoordinationMaintain inventory register; coordinate with stores for stock reconciliationHandle import documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding where applicableCoordinate with accounts on vendor payments, advances, and credit limit trackingDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain POs, invoices, delivery challans, and vendor agreementsEnsure GST compliance on all purchases; update data in Zoho BooksPrepare monthly procurement reports — spend, vendor performance, savingsRequired Qualifications2–4 years procurement experience in solar / electrical / construction materialsB.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical) or ; renewable energy background preferredGood understanding of solar components, BOS, and product certifications (IEC, IS, BIS)Awareness of ALMM-listed modules and MNRE compliance requirementsBasic knowledge of import processes and freight terms (CIF/FOB)Key AttributesStrong negotiator with high attention to detailProactive planner — anticipates needs rather than reacts to shortagesOwns the function end-to-end; comfortable coordinating across project, site, and finance teamsNice to HaveExisting network of solar panel/inverter distributors in North IndiaExperience with Zoho Books, Tally, or similar ERPPrior exposure to import procurement and freight forwardersLocation: Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate, Delhi
