Job Description: Seeds Agrochemical Marketing ManagerTitle: Marketing Manager - Seeds and Agrochemicals Location: Delhi/ Hyderabad Job Class: 3 A/ 3B (As per the experience) Reports To: SBU HeadKey ResponsibilitiesStrategy Development: Formulate and implement multi-channel marketing plans (ATL/BTL, digital, field demos, events) in line with overall business objectives for seed and crop protection portfolios.Product Launches & Management: Plan, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of new product launches. Suggest new product categories and SKUs to R&D and management teams.Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze market dynamics, and perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategies.Channel Management: Manage and expand distribution networks, including retailers, distributors, and institutional clients. Drive excellence in channel management.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, internal R&D, supply chain, and sales teams.Campaign Execution: Oversee the creation of marketing materials and product awareness content, and ensure effective execution of campaigns in the field.Budgeting & ROI: Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track the return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities.Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing coaching and training to commercial functions to build local expertise.Market Intelligence: Systematically capture information on agricultural developments and bring new innovations to farmers for a competitive advantage.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience.Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is typically required.Experience: Generally requires 5-15 years of relevant sales and marketing experience in the agriculture, seeds, or agrochemical industry.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of rural agri markets, crop patterns, pest and disease identification, and commercial agronomy is essential.
