Financial Controller (Growth & Strategy)Executive Summary:As we scale from an 80 Cr turnover to a 400 Cr powerhouse in the MSME coaching and training sector, we are seeking a dynamic Financial Controller. This is not a role for a traditional accountant. We need a strategic partner who can oversee a high-volume transaction team, ensure 100% data integrity, and provide themanagement with the financial /"cockpit/" (data and insights) required to steer this rapid growth.Job Type - Full-TimeLocation - BangaloreAcademic Qualification - CA, MBA (Finance), or CMALanguage - English, Kannada, HindiDesired Experience - 5-7 years in Finance & 3 years in LeadershipKey Responsibilities:1. Leadership & Team Management• Lead, mentor, and audit the performance of a 7–8 member accounting team handling billing, purchases, and banking.• Implement rigorous review mechanisms to ensure that the books are /"closed/" daily/weekly with zero pending entries.• Bridge the gap between ground-level execution and executive-level strategy.2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)• Budgeting: Build and manage departmental budgets to ensure the 400 Cr roadmap is financially viable.• Cash Flow Mastery: Perform advanced cash flow analysis to manage the working capital requirements of a fast-moving service business.• Variance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive /"Hair Analysis/" (dissecting thin- margin areas) and cost-benefit analysis on marketing spends and event ROI.3. Management Reporting (MIS)• Directly report to Management with actionable insights, not just raw data.• Develop and maintain real-time Dashboards tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to the coaching industry (e.g., Customer AcquisitionCost vs. Lifetime Value).• Ensure absolute accuracy in the P&L and Balance Sheet for monthly board reviews.4. Process & Systems Excellence• Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual dependency.• Liaise with the separate Compliance Team to ensure all financial data supports seamless audits and statutory filings.• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls to prevent leakages during the scale-up phase.Key Skills:• Mindset - You thrive in a fast-moving environment.
