About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned lending professional to lead and scale our lending business. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the lending portfolio.The role operates one level below the Business Head, with significant autonomy to run day-to-day operations while partnering closely with the leadership team on strategy, expansion, and execution.This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who has built and scaled lending businesses and is comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Growth OwnershipDrive growth of the lending portfolio in line with business objectivesOwn revenue, profitability, and portfolio quality for the lending businessIdentify and execute new growth opportunities across products, geographies, and channelsEnd-to-End Lending ManagementOversee the full lending lifecycle: sourcing, credit underwriting, disbursement, collections, and portfolio managementBalance growth with risk and compliance requirementsWork closely with credit, risk, legal, and operations teams to ensure robust processesLeadership & ExecutionLead and develop cross-functional teams across sales, credit, operations, and collectionsBuild a performance-driven culture with strong governance and accountabilityTranslate strategic direction into executable plans and measurable outcomesStakeholder ManagementPartner with senior leadership, lenders, and external stakeholdersPresent business performance, insights, and growth plans to leadershipSupport fundraising, partnerships, and lender relationships where requiredWhat We’re Looking ForExperience12–18 years of experience in lending, NBFCs, fintechs, or financial servicesCurrently in a role such as Vertical Head / Business Head / Deputy Business Head Proven experience managing P&L and scaling a lending bookStrong exposure to MSME / Retail / Secured or Unsecured lending (as applicable)Skills & CompetenciesStrong business acumen with hands-on execution mindsetDeep understanding of lending economics, portfolio management, and credit riskAbility to build, lead, and inspire large teamsData-driven decision maker with strong analytical skillsComfortable operating in a promoter-driven, fast-moving environment
