We at Thoughtrons, a mil-tech startup incubated atIIT Ropar with our office in New Delhi, are looking for aBusiness and Strategy Associateto join our growing team.About the Role We are looking for aBusiness & Strategy Associateto work directly with the founders on strategic, operational, and research-driven initiatives. This is amulti-faceted rolethat blends business development, research, and execution, ideal for someone who enjoys working across diverse functions in a fast-paced start-up environment.Key Responsibilities Market & Partner Research:Identify and evaluate potential OEMs, vendors, and technology partners relevant to our portfolio. Business Development Support:Reach out to prospective clients, support proposal creation, and assist in follow-ups. GEM Portal Engagement:Scout for relevant bids and tenders, prepare supporting documents, and coordinate submissions. Founder Support:Assist the founding team with daily operational tasks, coordination, and strategic follow-ups. Documentation & Analysis:Prepare clear, concisePowerPoint presentations, reports, and Excel trackersas required. Cross-Functional Projects:Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on special initiatives or partnerships.What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience inbusiness research, strategy, operations, or business development(start-up or consulting exposure preferred). Strong working knowledge ofMS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills. Familiarity withGEM portalorgovernment procurementwill be an advantage. Keen interest indefence, aerospace, or military technology.
