Senior Associate Lawyer

Position Title: Senior Associate Department: Transaction Law Location: New Delhi Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 4-7 years Preferred Candidate 4–7 years of PQE in reputed law firms or corporates specializing in corporate/transaction law. Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory experience. Exposure to private equity and cross-border deals will be an added advantage. Position Summary We are looking for a Senior Associate to join a Tier 1 Law Firm's Transaction Law practice . The role requires 4–7 years of hands-on experience in M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory. The candidate should have excellent drafting and negotiation skills, sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to independently manage transactions while working collaboratively with teams. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as shareholders’ agreements, share subscription agreements, business transfer agreements, and related contracts. Conduct legal due diligence across industries and provide actionable insights. Advise clients on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters relating to transactions. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth deal closure. Represent clients in negotiations and maintain strong client communication. Deliver assignments with accuracy and within timelines. Education LLB/LLM from top tier university Core Competencies Analytical Skills: Ability to simplify complex legal and business issues.
