You’ll gain hands-on experience across four core focus areas. 1. Strategic Leadership & Company Growth -Collaborate with the Founder to shape and refine Rooter's overarching strategy. Rooter pioneered mobile game streaming in India in 2020, emerging as a leader in a highly competitive space. In 2024, Rooter 2.0 introduced the Rooter Shop, a scalable gaming commerce marketplace that seamlessly connected content with commerce. Now, with Rooter 3.0 on the horizon, the company is launching a new engagement model layered on top of content streaming offering innovative features that will redefine user experience. You’ll play a key role in strategising, launching, and executing this next phase of growth 2.Capital Strategy & Fundraising -Work alongside with the Founder on all financial initiatives—ranging from equity and debt fundraising to secondary transactions and optimising the company’s capital structure. You’ll also collaborate with the finance team to drive profitability in the current fiscal year. You will be deeply involved in the upcoming Series B round and continue to contribute through Rooter's journey toward a public listing in under five years. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing investor materials Coordinating with investment bankers Leading the due diligence process Managing communications and documentation through to deal closure In addition, you’ll be the primary liaison for all shareholders and oversee reporting, including MIS, monthly/quarterly updates, and board meetings. 3.Strategic Communications -From the Founder’s office, you will lead internal communications with teams, shareholders, and partners. Externally, you will collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to craft Rooter’s voice in the media, prepare for industry events, and engage in key sector initiatives. 4.Execution & Accountability -Establish and manage systems to track the progress of all strategic projects and KPIs. Working across departments, you’ll ensure transparent communication and effective execution. As the bridge between the Founder and various teams, your role will be critical in driving accountability and performance.Ideal Profile for the Role:We're looking for a dynamic, execution focused professional who embodies the following qualities: 5+ Years of Relevant Experience -Proven track record in corporate strategy, project management, or chief of staff roles—preferably within a high-growth startup or fast-paced, evolving environment Educational Excellence -Postgraduate degree or MBA from a Tier-I or top-tier institution, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in strategic, high-performance roles Strategic & Operational Leadership -Demonstrated ability to lead cross- functional initiatives, streamline operations, and drive alignment across teams to achieve key strategic objectives Executive Stakeholder Management -Comfortable working closely with C-suite leaders, board members, and department heads—effectively managing relationships while delivering on critical, high-impact projects Project Management Excellence -Strong multitasker with the ability to handle complex deliverables in fast-moving settings.
