Sustainability Coordinator

The Sustainability Coordinator will lead and implement environmental and sustainability initiatives within the school. The role focuses on promoting eco-friendly practices, integrating sustainability into the curriculum, and engaging students, staff, and the wider community in responsible environmental stewardship. The role will also support and oversee certain day-to-day operational aspects related to teaching staff to ensure smooth functioning and alignment with school standards.Key Responsibilities 1. Program Development & Implementation Design, plan, and execute sustainability program within the school Monitor and report on progress of sustainability project2. Curriculum Integration Collaborate with teachers to incorporate sustainability concepts. Organize workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns for students.3. Resource Management Promote efficient use of resources such as water, energy, and materials. Track and analyze resource consumption and suggest improvements.4. Student & Staff Engagement Encourage student participation in sustainability initiatives and competitions.5. School Operations Support Support and oversee day-to-day operational coordination of teaching staff. Ensure adherence to school policies, schedules, and academic processes. Work closely with teachers to streamline classroom practices and maintain consistency in delivery. Assist in resolving routine operational challenges related to teaching and classroom management.6. Reporting & Documentation Maintain records of sustainability initiatives and outcomes. Prepare reports for school management on environmental impact. Highlight achievements through newsletters, social media, and school events.
