Sustainability Coordinator

The Sustainability Coordinator will lead and implement environmental and sustainability initiatives within the school. The role focuses on promoting eco-friendly practices, integrating sustainability into the curriculum, and engaging students, staff, and the wider community in responsible environmental stewardship. The role will also support and oversee certain day-to-day operational aspects related to teaching staff to ensure smooth functioning and alignment with school standards.Key Responsibilities1. Program Development & ImplementationDesign, plan, and execute sustainability program within the schoolMonitor and report on progress of sustainability project2. Curriculum IntegrationCollaborate with teachers to incorporate sustainability concepts.Organize workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns for students.3. Resource ManagementPromote efficient use of resources such as water, energy, and materials.Track and analyze resource consumption and suggest improvements.4. Student & Staff EngagementEncourage student participation in sustainability initiatives and competitions.5. School Operations SupportSupport and oversee day-to-day operational coordination of teaching staff.Ensure adherence to school policies, schedules, and academic processes.Work closely with teachers to streamline classroom practices and maintain consistency in delivery.Assist in resolving routine operational challenges related to teaching and classroom management.6. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain records of sustainability initiatives and outcomes.Prepare reports for school management on environmental impact.Highlight achievements through newsletters, social media, and school events.
