The organization offers a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment for professionals.Location: Sahibabad, GhaziabadExperience: 5+ Years (Forging/Tool & Die focus)Tooling Environment: VMC, Hard Milling (45-55 HRC)Software: SolidCAM (3D Milling/HSM) & MastercamRole OverviewWe are looking for a specialist to design and program die blocks for our forging operations. This role requires a deep understanding of metal flow for both Hammer and Press dies and the technical expertise to machine these blocks on a VMC. You will be responsible for creating efficient, safe, and high-precision toolpaths for pre-hardened die steels without relying on automated machining wizards.Key ResponsibilitiesForging Engineering: Design die cavities with precise shrinkage allowances, draft angles, and flash/gutter configurations.3D Programming: Develop complex 3D toolpaths in SolidCAM and Mastercam using HSM (High-Speed Machining) strategies (Trochoidal milling, constant engagement, etc.).Hard Milling Mastery: Manage tool pressure and heat while machining hardened H13/L6 steel. Optimize step-overs and step-downs to ensure maximum tool life and surface finish.Die Anatomy: Differentiate design approaches for Hammer dies (impact resistance/structural integrity) vs. Press dies (thermal management/ejection).Required SkillsExpertise in SolidCAM 3D and Mastercam 3D.Proven ability to program for hardened materials (48+ HRC) on a VMC.Strong understanding of cut-depth control and chip thinning principles.Ability to perform manual polishing reduction through superior CAM finish passes.
