This role is focused on creating excitement, building audience connection, maintaining flow, and ensuring a high energy and engaging live experience while trainers deliver the technical or instructional content.The host acts as the face of the session, guiding participants from opening to closure, managing engagement, and ensuring smooth coordination between trainers, participants, and support teams. The role requires strong communication skills, confidence on live platforms, and the ability to manage audiences with clarity and warmth.This position plays a key role in shaping participant experience, engagement levels, and overall session quality.Key ResponsibilitiesPre Session Preparation and Hype• Build excitement before sessions through opening narratives and previews • Prepare ice breakers and warm up conversations • Coordinate with trainers to understand session objectives and flow • Prepare session scripts, opening remarks, and transitions • Ensure smooth onboarding and readiness of participantsLive Session Hosting and Engagement• Host live Zoom sessions with confidence and high energy • Introduce trainers and outline session agendas • Set tone, expectations, and flow for participants • Manage session timing and transitions • Engage audiences using polls, chat interactions, Q and A segments, and shout outs • Act as a communication bridge between trainers and participantsStorytelling and Narration• Narrate the journey of the session from start to finish • Summarize key takeaways between segments • Maintain energy and momentum during longer sessions • Ensure smooth topic and speaker transitionsModeration and Coordination• Moderate live chat and Q and A discussions • Filter and relay relevant questions to trainers • Handle live issues related to audio, video, or engagement professionally • Coordinate with backend support or tech teams when requiredPost Session Wrap Up• Deliver strong session closures and thank you notes • Highlight next steps, assignments, or upcoming sessions • Collect live feedback and participant reactions • Support community bonding and continuity after sessionsRequired Skills and CompetenciesCommunication and Presence• Excellent spoken English with clear and confident delivery • Strong stage presence and voice modulation • Natural speaking style suitable for live audiences • Comfort handling large groups on ZoomEngagement and People Skills• High emotional intelligence • Ability to build instant rapport with diverse audiences • Confidence in handling live interactions and unexpected situations • Natural storytelling ability with enthusiasm and warmthOrganizational and Technical Skills• Familiarity with Zoom tools including polls, breakout rooms, chat moderation, and screen sharing • Strong time management and session control • Ability to coordinate effectively with trainers and technical teamsPreferred Qualifications• Background in event hosting, community management, or live show moderation • Experience in radio, podcasting, YouTube hosting, or corporate training facilitation • Experience hosting educational or technology focused webinars • Familiarity with online learning platformsDeliverables and Expectations• High energy and well-structured live webinar hosting • Consistent audience engagement throughout sessions • Smooth coordination with trainers and support teams • Positive participant feedback and session retentionEvaluation Criteria• Audience engagement and participation levels • Communication clarity and confidence • Ability to maintain session flow and energy • Professionalism during live situationsHow to Apply Interested candidates can apply here on LinkedIn.
