Assistant Fashion Designer

Role Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The selected candidate will assist in developing seasonal collections, coordinate with artisans and production teams, and ensure that each design reflects the brand’s aesthetic and attention to detail. --- Key Responsibilities: * Assist the design team in developing couture and prêt collections. * Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings. * Conduct trend, color, and fabric research in line with brand direction. * Coordinate with sampling, embroidery, and production teams for timely execution. * Support fittings, fabric sourcing, and quality checks. * Maintain design archives, tech packs, and documentation. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design/Textile Design. * 0–2 years of relevant experience (including internships). * Strong understanding of fabrics, surface ornamentation, sketching and garment construction. * Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software. * Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills. * Attention to detail and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
