Director of Design & Project Development About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Director of Design & Project Development to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of design and capital projects across our hotel portfolio and other business units. This strategic leadership role ensures that all projects meet brand standards, stakeholder expectations, and financial objectives , while fostering innovation in design and project management. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement design and project management strategies aligned with company objectives. Establish design guides, specifications, and standards for new builds, renovations, and conversions. Provide thought leadership in design innovation, sustainability, and construction methodologies. Serve as the main liaison among owners, operators, designers, and contractors. Design & Development Oversight: Lead design review, approval, and conceptualization for all development projects. Ensure brand standard compliance while promoting functional and creative design solutions. Oversee project scopes, feasibility studies, and master plans with stakeholders. Project Management: Plan, budget, schedule, and execute capital projects on time and within budget. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure regulatory compliance, permits, and sustainability standards are met. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in design and project management in hospitality or real estate, including 5+ years in senior leadership . Proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects on time and within budget. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: ₹928,000 to ₹1,041,250 INR/month approx.
