Role : OpenShift AdminExperience : 5 to 8 years Location : Bangalore Keywords : Openshift, KubernetesDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Work with sterling team to support their app in both pre-prod (via Snow tickets) and prod (Change tickets/CTASKs) for changesTest connectivity between endpoints for services to/from the platform to validate firewall connectivity (both pre-prod & prod) either manually of via automated jobsScaling pods/deployments wherever needed (both pre-prod & prod)Updating config maps, secrets, routes, services, or other K8S/Openshift objects (both pre-prod & prod) manually of via automated jobsLogging and monitoringProvide log data of the objects on container platform when not available in logging tool (e.g.: TCP dump)Monitoring warning & alerts on container platform and follow up on those actions in SNOW (e.g.: creating incidents based on alerts and help in resolving/escalating them to get resolution)Update/Renew certs for objects on container platform (e.g.: ingress certs, route certs, wild card certs etc.) (both pre-prod & prod) either manually or via automated jobsHelp with patching updates of container platform (both pre-prod & prod) - either manually or via automated jobsValidate apps on container platform after either application (e.g.: sterling) or infra (eg: patching, F5 B2X changes are done).Provide incident management support as first responders to monitor and collect data about the issue and if needed follow the escalation process to involve container admin team for RCA and resolution.Ability to create SOPs, KB articles, Utilize themCreate DR plans and keep them ready/updated for unforeseen situationsSoft Skills:Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communicationFocus on delivery and customer services.Ability to manage escalations and coordinate with different teams.Team player
