We regularly support leading law firms, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses across the U.S. in matters involving valuation disputes, forensic accounting investigations, and expert testimony.Our Litigation Support Valuation practice sits at the intersection of valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation strategy. We are frequently engaged in disputes requiring reconstruction of financial records, identification of non-operating or personal expenses, tracing of funds, assessment of economic damages, and development of defensible expert opinions suitable for court, mediation, and IRS scrutiny.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Manager-level forensic accountant with 4–7 years of relevant experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, or dispute-related financial analysis. This position is based in India and works directly with U.S.-based Directors and testifying experts on active litigation engagements.This role combines technical production with engagement-level ownership. The Manager will lead the day-to-day execution of forensic assignments, supervise Associates and Senior Associates, and ensure that analyses are methodologically sound, well-documented, and defensible in adversarial settings. The position requires strong analytical discipline, structured thinking, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under court-imposed deadlines.The ideal candidate has direct experience in forensic accounting within litigation contexts, particularly marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, or economic damages matters, and is proficient in financial tracing, income reconstruction, normalization analyses, and preparation of comprehensive marital balance sheets and lifestyle assessments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead forensic accounting workstreams on litigation engagements involving closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and complex asset structures.Supervise and review the work of Associates and Senior Associates, ensuring analytical accuracy, documentation quality, and internal consistency.Design and execute tracing analyses across multiple bank, brokerage, credit card, and entity accounts to identify sources and uses of funds.Oversee reconstruction of incomplete or unreliable financial records using general ledgers, tax returns, bank statements, and third-party documentation.Develop and review normalization analyses identifying personal, non-operating, discretionary, or disputed expenses.Prepare and supervise the development of marital balance sheets, lifestyle analyses, and income available-for-support calculations.Analyze related-party transactions, owner compensation structures, distributions, and intercompany activity.Reconcile financial statements to tax returns and underlying transactional data to ensure defensibility.Build and review complex Excel-based models for income analysis, damages modeling, and valuation inputs.Draft and refine technical sections of expert reports and internal memoranda for Director-level review.Perform advanced quality control over assumptions, formulas, and model integrity.Coordinate directly with U.S.-based professionals across time zones and manage deadlines tied to mediation, deposition, and trial.Contribute to internal process development, documentation standards, and modeling templates within the forensics team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline required.4–7 years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, audit, or dispute-related financial analysis.Demonstrated experience leading portions of engagements and reviewing the work of junior team members.Direct experience supporting marital dissolution or other litigation matters is strongly preferred.Demonstrated expertise in financial tracing and reconstruction of books and records under incomplete data conditions.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, nested logic, data reconciliation, and structured financial modeling.Strong understanding of financial statements and U.S. GAAP fundamentals; familiarity with U.S. tax returns is preferred.Experience performing income normalization, lifestyle analyses, support-related income calculations, or damages modeling.Strong written English skills suitable for drafting technical content incorporated into expert reports.Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining precision and documentation discipline.Familiarity with U.S. litigation processes, discovery materials, and evidentiary standards is preferred.Professional credentials such as CA, FAFD, DISA, CFAP, CFE, CPA-equivalent, or progress toward such credentials are strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience in several of the following areas is highly desirable:Marital dissolution valuations and income analysisForensic accounting and financial tracingEconomic damages and lost profitsShareholder or partner disputesEstate and gift tax valuationsBankruptcy, insolvency, or restructuring-related valuationsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience.Exposure to complex U.S.-based litigation and valuation matters.Flexible remote or hybrid work arrangements.Structured skill development in financial modeling, forensic analysis, and report preparation.Opportunity for advancement based on performance and technical development.How to ApplyUpload your resume here: the resumes uploaded to this link will be considered)
