This role ensures financial integrity, statutory compliance, and operational control across diverse geographies within a global staffing and workforce solutions environment. The position partners closely with external accounting, advisory, and tax providers, as well as global finance leadership, to align local and corporate financial standards. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and experience managing complex, multi-country finance operations.Job DescriptionLead end-to-end financial reporting for India in compliance with Indian GAAP and corporate IFRS/US GAAP standards.Manage statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities, partnering with external accounting and tax firms.Plan and execute the transition of outsourced accounting, payroll, and compliance activities to an in-house finance function.Design, implement, and monitor a robust internal controls environment aligned with global finance policies and governance standards.Oversee local accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury operations, ensuring adherence to global DOA and cash control policies.Ensure compliance with Indian statutory frameworks, including the Companies Act, FEMA, and related regulations.Provide controllership oversight across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and Canada, ensuring consistency in accounting policies and close processes.Coordinate reconciliation between US GAAP corporate books and local GAAP ledgers maintained by third-party providers.Provide quality assurance over monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all supported regions.Drive finance automation, ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, and continuous process improvements aligned with the global technology roadmap.RequirementsChartered Accountant (CA) certification required.15+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 5+ years in a senior controllership or finance leadership role.Experience within staffing, workforce solutions, or IT services organizations strongly preferred.Strong expertise in IFRS and multiple local GAAP frameworks across international jurisdictions.Proven experience managing shared services or global capability centers supporting multinational operations.Demonstrated success working with external accounting, advisory, and tax partners across regions.Experience with Workday; advanced Excel skills; Power BI or Tableau experience preferred.Ability to work on-site in Chennai with flexibility to support mid-shift hours aligned with India–US time zones.Why Join Pinnacle Group?This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead global controllership operations within a growing international organization.
