We’re hiring a seasoned Regional Sales Head (Banking) to lead our North India banking vertical. You will own regional revenue for Business Information Reports (BIR) and drive new bank empanelments, and expand share within PSU banks, private banks, NBFCs, small finance banks, co-operative banks, and fintech lenders. Ideal profile: ex-banker/retired banker with 15–20 years’ experience in credit/risk/trade/SME lending who can open doors, navigate procurement, and run a disciplined field engine. Key Responsibilities Own the Number: Deliver quarterly/annual revenue, gross margin, and renewals for BIR and related risk services across the North region. New Bank Acquisition & Empanelment: Identify target institutions, secure vendor registrations/empanelments, and win master agreements; navigate legal, compliance, and procurement cycles. Field Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing team of territory managers/field reps; run weekly cadences, joint calls/ride-alongs, deal reviews, and coaching. Pipeline & Territory Management: Build account plans, map decision units (Credit, Risk, Compliance, Trade, MSME, Collections), and maintain 3–4× coverage in CRM with accurate stage definitions and close dates. Stakeholder Management: Build executive relationships (CGM/GM/Head of Credit/Risk/Compliance/Trade) while enabling daily users (analysts/underwriters/ops) through training and playbooks. Partnerships & Alliances: Establish channel/association ties (bank federations, risk forums) and pursue co-marketing or referral motions that accelerate entry. Market Intelligence: Track regulatory moves (RBI, IBC/SARFAESI trends), competitor pricing, and procurement calendars; translate feedback into product inputs. Qualifications 15–20 years in banking/financial services; substantial tenure in Credit/Risk/Trade Finance/SME lending or selling to these functions. Proven track record winning bank empanelments and enterprise deals; strong network across PSU/private banks and NBFCs in North India. Working knowledge of BIR/KYB , corporate due-diligence workflows, and data sources (MCA, GST, charges, litigation, KYC/UBO, sanctions/PEP). Comfort with bank procurement , legal terms, information-security checklists, and RFP processes. Executive presence, negotiation, and stakeholder mapping; excellent written & verbal communication.
