SAP BSA/Tester - RTR

Job Title: SAP Business Systems Analyst / Tester – Record to Report (RTR) Experience: 8+ years Location: India Work Mode: Remote Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP BSA / Tester – Record to Report (RTR) to support finance transformation initiatives. This role will ensure financial process accuracy through robust testing, test automation using Tosca , regression optimization, and enhanced digital adoption capabilities across core RTR processes. Key Responsibilities SAP Finance Testing Review and refine finance-related test scripts aligned to RTR business processes Validate end-to-end scenarios across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Close cycles Maintain alignment with functional design, accounting standards, and compliance requirements Execute SIT, UAT, and regression testing for RTR processes Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution validation Test Automation Design and develop automated regression test suites using Tricentis Tosca and/or Panaya Drive automation strategy for RTR business scenarios including journal postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting Maintain and optimize automation coverage for finance processes Improve regression cycle efficiency and test reliability through automation best practices Digital Adoption Develop guided walkthroughs for finance users using Whatfix Convert RTR process documentation into interactive workflows Support analytics to monitor user adoption, training effectiveness, and process adherence Functional Focus – Record to Report (RTR) General Ledger (GL) accounting and journal processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) integration with GL Chart of Accounts setup and maintenance Cost accounting, allocations, and profitability analysis Bank accounting and reconciliations Fixed Assets accounting Financial reporting and compliance Month-end and year-end close processes Required Skills & Experience SAP Finance Expertise (RTR) Strong hands-on understanding of end-to-end RTR business processes in SAP Experience validating financial transactions, postings, and reporting cycles Ability to translate accounting requirements into structured test scenarios Testing & Automation Strong experience in functional, integration, and regression testing Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (preferred) and/or Panaya for test automation Experience in building reusable test components and automation frameworks Preferred Tools Tricentis Tosca , Panaya Whatfix / WalkMe Core Competencies Strong attention to detail Finance and accounting process mindset Analytical thinking with problem-solving ability Strong collaboration and communication skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent SAP finance experience
