The Dean of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a senior academic leader responsible for driving excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and industry collaboration within the School/Faculty of Computer Science. The role involves strategic planning, academic leadership, faculty development, and global engagement to position the university as a leader in technology education and research. Key Responsibilities: -Academic Leadership Provide visionary leadership for the CSE department aligned with the university’s global mission. Design and continuously update curriculum to meet international standards and industry demands (AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, etc.). -Research & Innovation Foster a strong research culture with high-impact publications, patents, and funded projects. Encourage interdisciplinary research and collaboration with global institutions. -Industry & Global Engagement Build partnerships with leading tech companies, startups, and global universities. Facilitate internships, live projects, and placements for students. -Student Development Enhance student experience through modern pedagogy, labs, and experiential learning. Ensure strong career outcomes and global employability. Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institution. Strong track record in research, publications, and funded projects.
