HVAC Consultant / Freelancer

Position- HVAC - Consultant / Freelancer Qualifications : - B.E. / B. Tech. - Mechanical Experience- 10+ years’ of HVAC design experience in Oil & Gas Location- Navi Mumbai Immediate Joinee PreferredResponsibilities:- Design HVAC systems for critical environments such as control rooms, substations, MCC rooms, Server Rooms, living quarters in refineries, Petrochemical plants facilities. Perform heat load calculations considering equipment heat dissipation, ambient conditions, and process requirements. Select HVAC equipment suitable for hazardous areas (ATEX/IECEx compliance). Develop detailed HVAC layouts, ducting, piping, and instrumentation diagrams using AutoCAD or Revit. Ensure compliance with oil & gas industry standards such as API, ASHRAE, ISO, and client-specific specifications. Coordinate with process, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure integrated design. Prepare technical documentation including datasheets, specifications, and material take-offs. Support procurement and vendor evaluation for HVAC equipment. Participate in HAZOP reviews and ensure HVAC systems meet safety and reliability standards. Assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems.Technical Skills Required Experience with HVAC design for refineries, petrochemical plants, and control rooms. Knowledge of international codes: API 500/505, ASHRAE, ISO 15138, NFPA. Exposure to greenfield and brownfield projects. Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Trace 700) and CAD tools.
