The incumbent will be responsible for implementing strategic business plans, expanding the client base, achieving sales and collection targets, and managing a high-performing sales team. This role requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Business Development Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies tailored to the assigned market segments and territory. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and wellness providers. Prepare and present project proposals to prospective clients and follow up to ensure timely progression. Sales & Revenue Management Achieve defined sales and collection targets for the designated territory. Monitor and manage the financial performance of proposals, including duration, contribution margins, and profitability. Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection from clients, maintaining healthy cash flow. Client Relationship Management Engage with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide customized diagnostic solutions. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Serve as a point of escalation for service-related issues and ensure prompt resolution in coordination with internal teams. Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers and other field staff within the assigned area. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives. Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and product knowledge. Market Intelligence & Reporting Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Submit regular reports on sales performance, client engagement, and territory health to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency. Required Competencies Leadership Skills – Proven ability to lead and inspire sales teams toward achieving business goals. Team Management – Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. Interpersonal Skills – Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. Industry Knowledge – Sound understanding of the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry. Customer Relationship Management – Ability to manage client expectations and deliver superior service. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity within the diagnostics, pharma, or healthcare sector. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
