Hardware Design Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with strong expertise in designing high-quality printed circuit boards for embedded hardware applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting schematic designs into manufacturable PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Work closely with hardware engineers to translate schematics into detailed PCB layouts. Design multilayer boards (2 – 8+ layers) with focus on signal integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC considerations. Handle component placement, routing of high-speed signals, and optimization for power and thermal performance. Create and manage fabrication drawings, Gerber files, and assembly documentation. Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly). Conduct design reviews, verify footprints, and maintain component libraries. Ensure compliance with IPC standards and best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 1+ years of experience in PCB layout design (Altium Designer, KiCAD, or similar tools). Strong understanding of high-speed PCB design, signal integrity, and impedance control. Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, power supplies, and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS485, etc.). Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. Nice to Have Experience with RF PCB design.
