Analytics Consultant

Shift Timing: 1:00 PM IST – 10:30 PM ISTExperience Required: 2+ YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role involves data analysis, building logic for analytics/data solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and optimizing data workflows to support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.Key Responsibilities· Analyse complex datasets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that support strategic and operational decision-making.· Design and build analytical logic, data models, and calculations to enable scalable analytics and business intelligence solutions.· Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into analytical use cases, and deliver actionable insights.· Validate data sources and outputs to ensure consistency, reliability, and alignment with business definitions and KPIs.· Partner with engineering, data science, and BI teams to implement end-to-end analytics solutions.Qualifications & Core Skills (Must-Have)· Bachelors / Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university· Python & Advanced SQL: 2+ years of hands-on experience with performance tuning and complex query optimization.· Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint· Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills with data-driven orientation, and comfort operating in fast-evolving, ambiguous environmentsDesirable Skills (Good-to-Have)· Experience with cloud-native data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.· Working knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI and Looker· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.Why Join Us?· EXL offers an exciting, fast-paced and innovative environment, which brings together a group of sharp and entrepreneurial professionals who are eager to influence business decisions.
